What we use and why
| When | What | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| You comment on our live streams | Your public display name, the platform's user id for you, the comment text and time — received through the platform's official API | To count page requests, stop spam and abuse, honour platform moderation, and show "requested by @name" on air | 400 days; a moderation ban until it is lifted |
| You visit our pages | Pages and deals viewed, where you came from (for example "screen" or "chat"), time, your browser's user-agent, and a random visitor id cookie (p100v) on deal and page listings | To measure which pages and deals are useful, filter out bots, and test page variations | 400 days |
| You click through to a partner | A random click id, sent to the partner in their tracking link | So the partner can tell us a booking came from us (for our commission) | 400 days |
| A booking is reported to us | The partner's order reference, value, commission and status, linked to the click id — never your name or contact details | To reconcile commission | As long as accounting requires |
| Server logs | IP address, request and time | Security and keeping the service running | Short, automatically rotated logs |
| You email us | Your email and message | To reply | As long as needed for the conversation |
We do not sell personal data, build advertising profiles, or use advertising cookies. We don't receive your bookings' personal details — those are between you and the travel company, under its privacy policy.
Legal basis
Our legitimate interests in running an interactive channel, keeping it safe, measuring it and being paid by partners; your consent where the law requires it for cookies. You can object at any time.
Who else is involved
The platforms you watch on (YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram) under their own privacy policies; the travel companies and affiliate networks you click through to; our hosting and network providers. Some deal pages load a font from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use — email [contact email] (see data deletion). You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
